Sitting volleyball is a Paralympic sport, faster pace than the comparable Olympic version of volleyball due to the sport featuring a smaller court and a lower net. Each team is allowed to feature six players on court and players must maintain contact between their pelvis and the floor at all times. The objective is to hit a ball over a net and land it within the opposition's court and the first team to 25 points wins a set, but they must win by two clear points. The first team to win three sets is the winner.
Athletes consist of those with physical impairments; most common is amputees
